May 23-25 Join us at the Vintners Table Virginia Tech Campus Blacksburg, VA	The Vintners Table at Virginia Tech will be held on the Blacksburg campus May 23-25, 2008 with most events taking place at the Skelton Conference Center. Check out the events page for more details.

Our meeting tomorrow evening will be held at the Airport Marriott at PTI Airport. They are functioning on a normal basis following the recent storms in the area. If you have any questions, you can call my cell phone at 336-407-8413. Please come. There is no cost to attend and no cost to be a member of the Alumni Association. The social half hour will start at 6:00 and the meeting will begin at 6:30 and will be concluded by 7:30

Be on the lookout for our next Wine Trail, which will be announced this week. I am working on August now due to bus availability.

Thanks to those who have volunteered to assist with the scholarship interviews coming up. We will be reviewing the applications and conducting interviews in the next two weeks. We received approximately 25 applications this year from area students interested in our scholarship.
The Orange and Maroon Event will be held on Tuesday. I'm sure everyone attending the golf outing and/or the dinner will have a blast!
The annual alumni picnic will be held on August 14th at the Triad Park Shelter #1. Please save this date on your calendar.

We will try to keep an updated list of local Hokies who are trying to exchange tickets here. Please keep us updated with the latest information regarding your tickets / requests. *Note* The 2007-2008 seasons will bring new challenges for Hokie alumni looking for tickets. Every game is sold out and the renewed desire for alumni to connect with the campus will make it more difficult than ever to find extra tickets, which are in high demand. Please consider this fact if you have extra tickets. Consider helping out another local Triad Hokie before posting your tickets on e-bay or other ticket exchanging sites.
