This site is intended for local (Piedmont Triad, North Carolina) Virginia Tech alumni. If you are not currently living in North Carolina, never have and do not care about VT alumni events and activities of interest to the North Carolina Piedmont area then it would probably be wise to avoid signing up for the mailing list. The local alumni association uses the e-mail list to send out weekly updates and other important messages.
